Frequently Asked Questions – Pricing & Charges
What does your call-out fee include?
Our standard call-out fee is £90 + VAT, which includes the first 30 minutes on site, travel time, and admin costs. Many smaller plumbing and heating issues can be diagnosed — and often resolved — within this time.
How much do you charge after the first 30 minutes?
After the initial 30 minutes, we charge £50 + VAT per additional half-hour spent on site during the same visit. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
Do you offer fixed price quotes?
Yes — for jobs that are likely to take longer or require more complex repairs, we will provide a fixed written quote after the initial diagnosis so there are no surprises.
Are parts and materials included in your prices?
No — all listed prices are labour only and exclude the cost of parts and materials, unless otherwise stated. We’ll always discuss any required parts before proceeding.
Is VAT included in your prices?
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at the standard rate (currently 20%) to your final invoice.
How do I pay for your services?
We require payment on-site upon completion of the job. We accept bank transfer, cash or cheque.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — we offer a 6-month workmanship warranty on all labour carried out by our engineers, giving you peace of mind that the job has been done to the highest standard.
